30 Day Marvel Challenge
Day #1: Your favourite character - Ms. Marvel
Ms. Marvel is just one of those characters I really like, mostly due to how excellent her recently ended series was. The rivalry between her and Moonstone posing as Ms Marvel during Dark Reign was one of my favourite parts of that as a whole. She is criminally overlooked in Avengers teams and needs more dialogue though!
Also, what happened to her cat, Chewie? Confiscated by Norman Osborne maybe, I don’t know.

Lyra is one of my favourite new Marvel characters and I like the All New Savage series. Plus, the look on Karla’s face is priceless! Just go intangible you uselessness! We all know you can do that!
Just found this and I have got to say that this would have made a stunning Marvel Divas line-up. I would have read the hell out of this. Just sayin’.
I feel I have neglected you of late tumblr, allow me to rectify this by posting more nerdiness:
Today I trekked onwards in my love for trashy comic book heronies by picking up Ms Marvel Vol.1 ‘The Best of The Best’ while in town and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was, both the writing and art were top notch. Yet I’m even more impressed by how well Ms Marvel can pull off her super heroine swimsuit-esque costume without even a hint of a camel toe! maybe that’s what the red sash is for, occasionally draping itself over her crotch at some of her more dangerous moments. We wouldn’t want poor Carol Danvers becoming the Paris/Britney of the Marvel universe by flashing her vagina during a particularly ungraceful landing.
Also, on a trashy Marvel ladies note I have to say I’m loving the inclusion of Lois London in the new Necrosha series. After 27 years in the Z-List character bin it’s nice to see she can still rock a skin tight body suit and apply make-up threateningly. Let’s hope she’s not the disposable minion either, it would be a whole new level of entertaining to see her re-unite with half sister and previously mentioned mutant, Dazzler. I’m expecting to see clumps of hair flying and bricks in handbags. watch this space.
